ACTIVITIES FOSFORITO FLAMENCO CENTRE

La Delegación de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Córdoba ha organizado diferentes actividades culturales en el Centro Flamenco Fosforito, con el objetivo de acercar más el flamenco a todos los púbicos. Junto  a los ciclos de “Trasteando” y la “Matinales Flamencas”, se une el Baile Flamenco, Encuentros con los maestros de lo jondo,  talleres y foros de debate. Todo ellos en una programación que está prevista en los meses de Marzo y Abril de 2018.

VIERNES 9 MARZO:  Tiene como protagonistas a las bailaoras de flamenco japonesas Nobue Kurosu y Hideko Yamamoto, ambas  ganadoras del Concurso de Baile Flamenco enmarcado dentro de la I Semana de Córdoba en Tokio “Córdoba Week”.

VIERNES 16 MARZO: Performance “Balcón y Siete Puñales”  con una exaltación a la saeta que tendrá lugar desde el balcón de la antigüa Posada del Potro.

MEETINGS WITH THE MASTERS OF FLAMENCO:

This programme is especially aimed at people who are studying flamenco and its main objective is to promote masterly dialogues in order to transmit vital and artistic experiences to the new generations of flamenco artists.

WEDNESDAY 7 MARCH: We will be accompanied by the maestro José Antonio Ruiz.

WEDNESDAY 14th MARCH: We will be accompanied by the artist and dancer Matilde Coral.

MIÉRCOLES 21 MARZO: Nos acompañará el artista y cantaor Antonio Fernández “Fosforito”

WEDNESDAY 4 APRIL: We will be accompanied by the singer and composer Mayte Martín.

Those interested in attending must register in advance at the Centre from 1 March. Priority will be given to people who are studying flamenco in any of its modalities. Registrations will be handed in at the Centre itself from: Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 to 19:30 h, and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 8:30 to 14:30 hours.

WORKSHOPS AND DISCUSSION FORUMS:

With the aim of conserving and preserving the work of ancient crafts, a Pericones Painting Workshop has been organised, which will take place from 15th March to 24th April, under the direction of Concha Vacas. It will last 18 hours, which will be divided into several 3-hour sessions. A total of 15 places are available.

Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The workshop will have a maximum of 15 places

MEETINGS WITH EXPERTS:

This programme will feature experts, artists and amateurs who will address different topics of interest within the world of Flamenco:

WEDNESDAY 11 APRIL: Flamenco costumes, from tradition to the avant-garde.

WEDNESDAY 18 APRIL: Present and Future of Flamenco Competitions.

WEDNESDAY 28 APRIL: Flamenco in the Eyes of the World.

 

Those interested in attending as members of the public must also register in advance from 1 March at the centre from Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
