FINAL XVI CERMAN YOUNG FLAMENCO ARTISTS 2018
The provincial deputy for culture and vice-president Marisa Ruz has announced that the Final of the XVI Certamen de los Jóvenes Flamencos 2018, organised by the Diputación de Córdoba, will be held in Castro del Río on the 8th of June.
El jurado que presidirá ésta final estará compuesto por: Antonio Fernández “Fosforito”, Manuel Moreno Maya “El Pele”, Rafael Rodríguez “Merengue de Córdoba”, la bailaora Cristina Hoyos y el periodista flamenco Manuel Martín Martín.

In the Singing section:
Artistas que optan al Premio Antonio Fernández “Fosforito”: Isabel Jurado Lozano y Jesús Pineda González.
Artistas que optan al Premio Cayetano Muriel “Niño de Cabra” : Ana Jiménez Valencia y Carmen Carmona Lara.
In the Touch section:
Artistas que optan al Premio Vicente Amigo (Guitarra Solista): Rafael Ruiz Muñoz “El Tomate” y Alba Espert Ruiz.
Artistas que optan al Premio Rafael Rodríguez “Merengue de Córdoba” (Guitarra de Acompañamiento): Ángel Dobao Corpas y Juan Jesús Bermúdez Campaña.
In the Dance section:
Artists competing for the Mario Maya Prize: Inmaculada Serrano Mensua and Sonia Monje López.
The winning artists of this competition will receive a prize consisting of nine galas in the different municipalities of the province of Cordoba, and a finalist gala. Each of these galas is valued at 350 euros for all categories, except dance, which is valued at 800 euros because the accompaniment is included.
