Since ancient times Jerez has sung to Christmas. The Portal de la Fragua takes us into those Jerez gypsy houses, where the arrival of the child God was celebrated to the sound of Christmas carols. At a time when the concept of zambomba has become so globalized, it is difficult to find the authenticity and quality that only experienced Jerez zambombas offer.
El Niño de la Fragua is in charge of directing this zambomba, with which he has toured the most important stages of Spain, also, in 2016, he was in charge of assuming the direction of the zambomba of the Villamarta Theater, the most significant space of his city, Jerez de la Frontera, cradle of this format.
Therefore, we wait for you next Thursday December 27 at 20:30 pm in the Plaza de Santa Catalina in Pozoblanco (Córdoba), to continue celebrating Christmas to the sound of Flamenco Carols, which will make us delve into the tradition of Jerez.
