17 May FINALISTS XVII CÓRDOBA YOUNG FLAMENCO ARTISTS COMPETITION 2019
On Wednesday 15th May, the preliminary phase of the Certamen de Jóvenes Flamencos organised by the Diputación de Córdoba came to an end. The jury, made up of different personalities in flamenco in its different expressions of singing, guitar playing and dancing, designated the following participants as finalists:
In the DANCE section: Lorena Doblas Pérez and Ana García Juárez.
In the SOLO GUITAR section: Nicolás Díaz Liñán and Javier Moral Jurado.
In the CANTE section for the Antonio Fernández Fosforito Award, to the participants aged between 23 and 35: Amparo Ramos González and Salvador Anaya.
In the section of CANTE for the Cayetano Murial Niño de Cabra Prize, for young people aged between 14 and 22: Ana Jiménez Valencia and Lucía Sánchez García.
From Argot Flamenco we congratulate all these young artists for their pass to the final and we wish them all the best for their next performance in the Final Phase of the contest on 20 June 2019.
