It is said that zambombas date back to the 18th century when families in Jerez used to gather in the courtyards to celebrate Christmas, that is to say, that the tradition has survived the birth of flamenco as we know it today in one of those cultural processes that amaze musicologists from all latitudes.
Cradle of the Flamenco of our land, galaxy of great singers, where the buleria eclipses other fundamental songs and where the carols have flamenco makings and are consolidated as the most genuine expression of Christmas in Jerez.
With a long professional career, great artists come together, in these dates so marked to give life to the authentic Zambomba Jerezana.
