VILLANUEVA DE LOS CASTILLEJOS (HUELVA)
The City Council of Villanueva de los Castillejos has already launched the organization of the II Flamenco Festival dedicated to the figure of the Huelva-born guitarist Niño Miguel with the firm intention of continuing to contribute to the dissemination and knowledge of his work.
For this reason, and to motivate the study and interpretation of his compositions among young guitarists, it will develop within the festival the II Niño Miguel Flamenco Guitar Competition for Young Performers up to 35 years of age, to be held between September 14 and 15, 2018 and in which the applicants must play in each phase of the competition a free repertoire that includes a composition by Niño Miguel.
El viernes 14 de Septiembre a las 22:00 horas, actuará el Ganador del Primer Concurso de Guitarra Flamenca “Niño Miguel” , el guitarrista Javier Muñoz “El Tomate”, que estará acompañado de los siguientes artistas:
Singing: Antonio de Pozoblanco
Segunda Guitarra: Rafael Muñoz “El Tomate”
Percusión: Daniel Morales “Mawe”
On Saturday September 15 at 22:00 hours will perform the Escuela Flamenca de Baile de El Almendro, which is directed by Mariló Márquez.
All performances will take place at the Salón Polivalente Ernesto Feria in Villanueva de los Castillejos (Huelva).
