21 May 52nd Flamenco Gazpacho Andaluz Festival
The 52nd edition of the flamenco festival "Gazpacho Andaluz" to be held on 14 July in the town hall square of Morón de la Frontera (Cádiz), which will feature artists from the flamenco scene such as Arcángel, Pastora Galván, Pedro "El Granaíno" and Paco de Amparo, has been presented.
The flamenco cultural gathering El Gallo has hosted the presentation of the artistic line-up that will take the stage in this 52nd edition, in which the delegate for Culture and Flamenco of the Morón de la Frontera Town Council, Rosario Andújar, has highlighted that "we are committed to an event that will continue to be in the heart of our city and that maintains an important artistic level, playing with the balance of what the public demands and without losing sight of our roots".
On vocals will be Pedro Heredia Reyes, "El Granaíno", who will be performing for the first time at the Morón festival, accompanied on guitar by Antonio de Patrocinio. One of the highlights of the night will be the performance of Arcángel from Huelva, one of the leading figures of current flamenco singing,accompanied by the guitar of Dani de Morón, who will perform again at the festival after his performance in 2015. The bailaora Pastora Galván will present her show "Pastora baila" in this edition.
Además, Paco de Amparo presentará su último trabajo discográfico «Alma de mi guitarra» y estará acompañado por artistas de Morón, como los cantaores Jesús Flores y David El Galli, la guitarra de Ignacio de Amparo o el baile de la joven María Montaño. Además, el espectáculo contará con la colaboración de “El Farru” al baile.
The event will also include a preamble in which the audience will be able to enjoy the start of the festival with the winner of the VII Concurso de Cante Flamenco para Jóvenes Ciudad de Morón, organised by the flamenco cultural group El Gallo, as well as an artistic project prepared by the municipal guitar and flamenco dance workshops and aimed at schools.
